About

We are The Junior League of London

The Junior League of London (JLL) is an organisation whose mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration and training.

We are a registered charity and the United Kingdom chapter of the Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. (AJLI). There are more than 295 Junior Leagues around the globe, with over 125,000 members. Together we are one of the most impactful volunteer organisations in the world, and we’re entirely powered by women!

Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging

The Junior League of London welcomes all women who value our Mission. We are committed to inclusive environments of diverse individuals, organizations, and communities.

Our Focus

Our current community focus area is breaking the cycle of poverty. Poverty continues to be one of London’s most critical issues and has only been made worse by the pandemic and the Cost-of-Living Crisis.

The statistics show that poverty is particularly challenging for women and children. Focusing on poverty aligns well with our mission as a women’s organisation.

Advancing Positive Community Impact

The JLL is almost entirely volunteer-run. For over 35 years, our members have given thousands of hours of service to improve the lives of Londoners in need.

Help Us Lead Change

The women of the Junior League of London continue to work to improve our city through leadership and collective action but there is always more to be done. More help to provide, more funds to raise and more opportunities to make a positive impact within our Greater London community.
